Questions I get often.

If your question isn't here, the intake form above is the fastest way to get a real answer.

How long is a typical engagement?
Discovery calls are 30 minutes and usually same-week. Focused Sprints run 2–6 weeks with a written scope. Fractional retainers are monthly with a 60-day minimum so we have time to actually land something.
What's your rate?
Sprints are fixed-fee, scoped to outcome rather than hours. Retainers are monthly. I'll quote a real number after our Discovery call — once we know what success looks like — rather than publish an hourly rate that would only mislead you.
Do you work remote or on-site?
Remote-first from the Greater Toronto Area. I'm happy to travel within Canada for kickoffs, workshops, and milestone reviews when being physically present genuinely adds value.
Can you work alongside my existing MSP or internal IT team?
Yes — and that's often the best setup. I bring specialist depth on M365, Azure, identity, and automation. Your existing team keeps running day-to-day; I handle the modernization work they don't have time for.
Do you sign NDAs?
Yes, standard practice. Happy to sign yours, or use a short mutual NDA I keep on hand. Nothing sensitive is exchanged until one is in place.
What tech stack do you work best with?
Microsoft-first: M365, Azure, Entra ID, Intune, Defender XDR, Purview, PowerShell, Microsoft Graph. I also work with Linux (Ubuntu, RHEL), Cisco ASA/ASDM firewalls, and most mainstream SaaS integrations. If you're a Google Workspace / AWS-native shop, I'll refer you to someone better suited rather than fake the fit.
What size organization do you usually work with?
Mid-market (50–1,500 employees) is the sweet spot — big enough to have real infrastructure complexity, small enough that one engaged consultant can move the needle. I've supported enterprise estates of 15,000+ users and can scale up when needed.
